·SBA – SBA –Glycine max agglutinin (Soy Bean)

Various membrane receptors are glycoproteins with a variety of glycans attached as N and O linkages. In these glycans, galactose and GalNAc are very prominent. Several lectins have specificity to galactose and GalNAc, but this specificity varies and is context-driven. Glycomatix provides Gal and GalNAc-specific biotinylated lectin kits and Gal and GalNAc-specific Separopore® lectin kits with each containing our major lectins that recognize specific GalNAc-Gal linkages.

The kit contains 4 affyPure™ lectins that recognize common linkages including: GalNAc-α1,3-GalNAc (VVA), Gal-β1,3-GalNAc (T-Specific) (BPL), GalNAc-α1,3-GalNAc (DBA) and GalNAc-α1,3-Gal (SBA). Each lectin was immobilized to the Separopore® 4B (agarose beads) matrix by coupling with CNBr linkage to ensure proper configuration and stability of the lectin. The lectins are supplied as two 600 μL spin columns for each conjugate.

Note: Separopore® is a cost-effective equivalent to Sepharose® in all of its physical properties and binding characteristics.
