Glycine max Lectin (SBA) - Pure
Price: Regular price $414.00
Product Description
Glycine max agglutinin (SBA) is isolated and purified by affinity chromatography. It consists of four subunits of identical sizes. The isoelectric point of SBA is pH 6.0, binds to α/β N-acetylgalactosamine and gfalactose. SBA is a 120 kDa glycoprotein. SBA has specificity for blood groups A1, A2, and B, and interacts better with neuramidase-treated cells than untreated cells. This Lectin has selective affinity for lymphocytes and human CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells. Immobilized conjugates of SBA are important tools for removing T-cells in bone marrow transplants.
Recommended Usage: Recommended dilutions of 0.5 – 10 μg / ml in 1XPBS. Neuraminidase treated erythrocytes will agglutinate by 1 – 10 μg / ml of SBA.
