Purified MAL I+II is labeled with Texas Red dye and comes in a stabilized liquid form. Texas Red dye is a bright red-fluorescent dye with excitation ideally suited to the 561 and 594-nm laser lines. It is commonly used for cellular imaging applications. Texas red conjugates are sensitive to light.
