Loeffler's Alkaline Methylene Blue (Methylene Blue Counterstain) can be used as a counter stain for Carbol-Fuchsin staining. Loeffler's Alkaline Methylene Blue (Methylene Blue Counterstain) is supplied as a two-component reagent in a ratio 1: 3 (Dye: Base). To use, Mix 1 part Solution A (Methylene Blue) with 3 part Solution B (Dilute KOH).
