Tulip sp. Lectin (TL) - Pure
Price: Regular price $0.00
Product Description
Affinity purified Tulip sp. Lectin (TL) is a tetrameric protein consisting of four identical subunits, not linked by disulfide bonds. While not blood group specific, TL agglutinates type O erythrocytes more readily than A or B cells. It specifically binds to N-acetylgalactosamine, galactose, and fucose and can be eluted with fetuin or thyroglobulin. TL lectin specifically used for glycan analysis and molecular imaging.
Recommended Usage: Recommended dilutions of 0.5 – 10 μg/ml in 1XPBS. At a concentration of 1 mg/ml pure TL does not visibly agglutinate human type A, B, or O blood cells. Less than 250mg/ml will agglutinate neuraminidase treated type O cells.
