Vigna radiata Lectin (VRA) - FITC (Fluorescein)
Price: Regular price $170.86
Product Description
Affinity purified VRA agglutinates rabbit blood cells and is galactose-specific. Amino acid analysis of the purified mung bean lectin by reverse phase HPLC revealed that it contains glutamate in highest proportion followed by aspartate and histidine, indicating that it has a good zinc binding potential. Binding VRA with zinc improves overall stability and efficacy of the lectin.Vigna radiata Lectin (VRA) is labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and has an appropriate number of fluorochromes bound to provide the optimum staining characteristics for this lectin. FITC conjugates have been used in a variety of immunohistochemical and flow cytometry applications.Â
