Chicken IgY does not bind to IgG FC receptors and causes less false positives. IgY was purified by affinity chromatography and was used to raise antibodies in goats. The cross-reactivities of purified goat IgG that are likely to interfere with specific labeling are removed by solid phase adsorption chromatography. The purified secondary antibodies were then conjugated toBiotin while ensuring the maximum degree of labeling without compromising the specificity of the antibody.Biotinylated Goat Anti-Chicken IgY antibody can be used to detect chicken IgY in a variety of applications including IHC, ELISA, and Western blots using fluorescent/ enzyme tagged Avidin or Streptavidin reagents.Biotinylated Goat anti-chicken IgY (H+L) is supplied in solution form with 0.02% azide.
